Fixed Wireless Transport
Fixed Wireless Transport offers an alternative to traditional fiber-based transport services using Local Multipoint Distribution System (LMDS) spectrum licensing in the 28 GHz to 31 GHz frequency range. Fixed Wireless Transport can be used to create point-to-point and point-to-multipoint solutions. This wireless transport service offers a cost-effective means to aggregate traffic back to a fiber aggregation node, versus traditional, high-cost local loop providers. The same SLAs are offered with wireless technology, due to its ultra-reliability and proven field performance in networks worldwide. Highly scalable capacity supports future traffic growth, while resilient link and network architectures maintain traffic under the toughest conditions with speeds available from 100 Mbps through 1 Gig, depending upon distances.
