Summary: The Account Executive (AE) involves selling technology solutions including telecommunications and other IT related services to businesses in a highly competitive market. Identify, develop, and maintain favorable relationships with new clients and business partners in order to increase revenue, while using industry knowledge and skills to become a trusted advisor and customer advocate, while displaying FirstComm Core Values and delivering a first class experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain/Build relationships with business partners to grow your book of business.
  • Conduct webinars with potential prospects.
  • Proactively prospect for new clients via phone, email, and networking.
  • Diligently follow up on marketing campaigns.
  • Provide weekly reports including activity funnel, sales funnel, and other required reports.
  • Meet and/or exceed all sales and performance goals
  • Meet and/or exceed all activity metrics such as customer calls, funnel development, proposals, and discovery meetings.
  • Responsible for the introduction and penetration of FC New Service offering.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years minimum experience in telecommunications industry and or IT/Managed Services strongly preferred; candidates with equivalent work experience in a sales or service role required.
  • Understanding of telecom industry, and basic understanding of voice and data technologies including Hosted IP, MPLS, VOIP, Cloud and Fiber Services.
  • Must be willing and able to travel during the business day to a prospects site as necessary; reliable transportation is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management Information Systems, or Telecommunications strongly preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
